PSIDA DIY Solar Rooftop System
Unique Patented frame modification
PSIDA works on full system performance reducing overall costs including installation costs. Wind shear is directly affected by height of panels off of your pitched roof. High winds can cause rotational and linear torque at roof and panel connection points. Note that the frame of a solar panel is aluminum. Good for z-direction stiffness but not wind torque applied to the corners of your solar panel. Twisting of the panel over years can develop cracks in the wiring of your solar cells and may also cause reduced power production or in severe cases, a loss of the seal keeping out moisture, salts and air pollutants or sand and dust.
